Let’s say you plan to invite the family down the street to take a vacation to DisneyWorld this summer. Good idea? Maybe not as good as you think. Not when (according to the billboard as you enter Sevier County, Utah), Richfield, Utah, is the “favorite destination for plural families in America.”
Ken and Kevin have done your research for you to save you the time of researching everything there is to do in Richfield during your plural family trip. Here are some highlights you can expect during your trip to Richfield.
Food
Without any doubt, South China is the place to each in Richfield. You can read our separate story about our meal at South China.

Churches
There are many (well, four) churches to choose from in Richfield. We drove around town four times, looking for churches, and these are the four we found:
The Baptist Church
Baptists can be sneaky. Nowhere on the sign does it say “Baptist.” However, we did our homework and learned this is, indeed, a Baptist congregation.

Presbyterian Church
John Knox would be pleased to know there is a church right on the main drag of town. And a Presbyterian USA church to boot, not one of those “elite” PCA types. So all are welcome.

Jehovah’s Witness
Protestant or Catholic not to your taste, then the Jehovah Witness Church might be just the place for you. And we saw a couple taking food into the front door as we drove by, so that’s a plus. They were dressed up (and it’s Tuesday), so expect formal attire.

Lutheran
There is a fine Lutheran (ELCA, they’re the ones that will get in) Church in Richfield. Communion is open, so you’re probably welcome there.
Entertainment
There is entertainment galore in Richfield for the plural family in search of fun:

Lodging
Need a place to stay. The Nights (formerly Knights…we’re assuming they lost their franchise) Inn might be just the place for you. We feel sure the rates are “reasonable.”

So there you have it, Richfield in all its glory. And if you still find time to do a little more investigating, you might slip over the cemetery, where there is a flag pole by the grave of each and every veteran!
