After traveling 5 hours from Charleston WV through VA to Mt. Airy NC to visit Floyd’s Barber Shop (see Ken’s post), we got back in the car and drove 3 hours back to Virginia to the town of Floyd for an incredible evening of music and fun.
On every corner were musicians jamming with crowds large and small surrounding them.
While visiting with Russell, the owner of Floyd’s Barber Shop in Mt. Airy for 63 years was exciting, it would be hard to top the night we had in Floyd, VA.
