Having breakfast ($7 for 2 eggs plus sausage… $13 for Ken’s chicken & waffles) across from the Colorado State Capitol, our server, Seth, asks Kevin why he never ran for political office.
Kevin: “Seth, do you see the politicians who come in here to eat?”
Seth: “Sure. All the time.”
Kevin: “Do they look happy?”
Seth: “No. They look sad.”
Kevin: “Do we look sad?”
Seth: “No way.”
I guess that settles that.
