Who needs dark? Short northern nights fit road trip lifestyle

“Hey dude, it’s still early. Let’s walk the lake.”

Dark last s about six hours inSaskatoon.

The downtown Saskatoon lake was a hub of activity as we walked around after dinner with the media elite of Northern Saskatchewan.

Little did we know that it doesn’t get dark until 10:30. And the sun was up when I woke at 4:30 a.m.

We could get used to this. Sleep? Who needs sleep?

Next stop: Edmonton, Alberta.
