The last time I was in D.C., I spoke at The National Press Club. I also spoke at the Waldorf Astoria. This time was a little more laid back.
One important tidbit I picked up on this trip was the abundance of new laws related to therapy animals. Did you know, for instance, that it is against state law to question anyone bringing an animal into a business, on the chance the animal is a therapy animal.
The only requirement, it seems, is that the animal fit in the door.
So, as we learned from Andrew at the Hampton Inn last night, a giraffe would not be admitted into the hotel, but a baby giraffe would be welcomed with open arms … er, doors.
After much searching, I’ve now found my perfect therapy animal.
