We took lots of pictures and wanted to share a few with you as we wind up Road Trip XXXI. We’re glad you could join us.
Best meal of the trip. At a tiny Mexican restaurant in a town that has seen better days in Eastern Washington.Second best meal of the trip. In a small town between Whistler and Banff. We didn’t feel like we got robbed.Breakfast in Spokane was at Denny’s, next to our hotel. It was, well, Dennys. It was fine. One of the most expensive meals of the trip. Mexican in Whistler, British Columbia. Don’t ask how much it cost.
The scenery was (almost) literally out of this world. The drive from Whistler to Banff will long be remembered among the best of our road trip drives.

We made a few friends along the way. All were from other countries, not Canada (except one)
We met a couple from Germany as they made their own road trip across Western Canada. We learned the best place to have breakfast in Canada from this local, who ran a general store. Our waitress was nice, but less than generous when it came to portions of chips and salas.
There’s always time for a few more photos.

And of course, there was disc golf. On both sides of the border.
