Citizens of Calgary, Banff, Jasper, Saskatoon, Edmonton and homes within 800 kilometers of Regina, hold your hats. Ken and Kevin are coming your way this Sunday, June 19, as we take off on the 20th edition of Ken and Kevin’s Road Trip!
We’re just guessing on those locations. All we really know is we are meeting at the Minneapolis Airport (home of Ike’s Steakhouse and Gate C12) before the rest of the world wakes Sunday morning. From there, we will fly to Regina (capital of Saskatchewan, for our less-informed friends), then head off to “who knows where” without the assistance of GPS, Wi-Fi or a tour guide. For all we know, we might end up back in the United States . . . but probably not.
Assuming Canadian border guards let us into the county, and assuming Avis remembers to have our GrandTurismo Centennial waiting for us, we will be making friends in the True North before you can say, “Bob’s your uncle!” (That’s something they say up there)
So don’t be surprised if you see these guys, wearing these shirts (only black shirts this time) being swarmed by adoring fans wearing heavy sweaters and hockey scarves. We are happy to accept souvenir shirts (but not key rings), keys to cities and proclamations welcoming us to your communities.
Don’t be alarmed when you hear a commotion. It’s just Ken and Kevin’s Road Trip coming to a Canadian village near you, eh.
