When in Ponteix, eat where the locals eat. And don’t miss this crazy clock!

Kathy, who couldn’t be nicer, was excited to have visiting American celebrities.
Kathy, at the Ponteix Bakery and Restaurant, knows where all the best food is hidden.

Initially, Ken had his eye on cabbage borscht, but decided on a “Kentucky hot brown” or “Turkey Special,” as they call it at the Bakery.

And no trip to Ponteix would be complete without a trip to see the dinosaur.

Ken even read up on the man who spent 48 hours in hell. I asked what he thought and he said, “I don’t want to go there.”

Besides Kathy, the highlight of our trip to the Bakery had to be the crazy clock with moving ads.

We said our goodbyes and headed out before the storm hit, making our way east, toward Regina.
