Thanksgiving: Real families can be found anywhere

Our new friends in Americus, Georgia made us feel like family.
“Turkey is for suckers.” 

Those were Ken’s words as he took his first bite of Thanksgiving lunch at Waffle House 1293 in Americus, Georgia. 

While families across America slaved over ovens and fought about politics, we walked right in, made friends with Tara, our waitress, and enjoyed a feast fit for kings.


Statistically, 63% of Thanksgiving meals in America end in a huge family battle. Feel free to join us next year at waffle house in Americus, Georgia. They’ll leave the light on.

Tiara is the latest member of the Ken and Kevin Roadtrip family.
